She is the founder of a unique project called DISCOVERY THROUGH DESIGN. She has joined forces with three other dynamic women with similar stories to raise awareness and funds for paralyzed women’s health programs and spinal cord injury research.

She is also the founder and producer of an online magazine for women in wheelchairs called mobileWOMEN.org.
Wendy has remained athletically active, participating in many sports such as swimming, SCUBA diving, hang-gliding, para-gliding and kayaking.
Wendy is a model… a role model of determination and courage!
